Luxury Flower Arrangements on Whidbey Island: Custom Florals from Langley
A truly luxurious flower arrangement isn’t about the most expensive stems. It’s about flowers chosen with intention, designed with an artist’s eye and delivered at their absolute peak. That’s what we create every day at Exquisite Blumen, our floral boutique in Langley on Whidbey Island.
A Flower Farmer and Florist on Whidbey Island
Annemarie Schweiger grows many of the flowers in our arrangements in her own garden overlooking Possession Sound. Peonies in spring, dahlias, lilies and hydrangeas through summer and fall, and dramatic cardoon whose sculptural blooms customers love. Garden-grown flowers have a fragrance, texture and personality that shipped flowers rarely match.
Annemarie pairs those seasonal blooms with unexpected exotic flowers – sculptural tropicals, orchids and luxury garden roses – and weaves in crystals and other natural elements. The result is a design that feels more like a living work of art than a typical bouquet.
What Makes a Luxury Flower Arrangement?
Seasonal, peak-condition flowers. Blooms cut at the right moment last longer and look more alive.
Contrast and texture. Soft garden roses beside spiky cardoon, glossy tropical leaves beside airy foliage.
A sense of place. Flowers grown here on Whidbey carry the character of the island.
Thoughtful details. For example, we love the Aisha Oriental Roselily, a double-flowered lily that’s pollen-free, so there are no stained tablecloths and it’s gentler for allergy sufferers.
A vase worth keeping. The container is part of the gift.
